Any machine that is part of our corporate network doesn’t want to
display the video feed in browser window. I have noticed that on other machines that
‘allow’ and ‘allow always’ have different effects on the functionality of the
preview, and sometimes the browser needs to be re-started. I’m still
unable to view the stream using VLC on the camera.
This question is assuming
the corporate network may have a policy blocking the plug-in.
Answer: It sounds like there is
potentially a policy enabled to disable plugins? To view the camera video
stream through a browser you will need to use the VLC plugin that should be
prompted at start of the web page. If the plugin is not prompting to be installed
that your corporate network has plugin's disabled and you will not be able to
view the live video stream in the camera GUI. You should still be able to to
use full control and preset SET/Go functionality.
