When testing the cameras we tend to use the program AMCAP. The trial version is sufficient for testing purposes.

This is a Windows only program that will allow you to see your camera feed, as well as make some camera adjustments.

Choose your camera from the Devices tab, to see a preview window of your camera feed.
Go to "Options" and then "Properties" for options having to do with video options.
Go to "Options" and then "Capture Format" to change resolution and frame rate.
